Easy Apple Chaider Recipe
What if you could combine the two most fall things: chai and apple cider? What if there was a SUPER easy recipe that anyone could make that turns out delicious?
Well I’ve got good news, I just tried apple chaider earlier this week and it was amazing! So ridiculously simple and so ridiculously good.
Today I’m going to share with you an easy chai apple cider (or apple chai-der, if you will) recipe.
There are certain things that capture the true essence of fall, the top two being chai (of course, because October is Chai Month) and apple cider. In certain places, it’s apple season which is why apple cider is so popular this time of year.
I’ve always loved apple cider because it’s a nice mix of sweet, slightly tart, and cinnamon. But why stop there? You’ve already got the cinnamon, what if you add a bit more chai spices to create an amazing mix between the two greatest fall drinks?
This idea is what prompted me to come up with a chai apple cider recipe, or chaider as I’ve heard it been called.
I am obsessed with homemade chai concentrate so I try to have it on hand all the time, so if you haven’t read that recipe you can click here to check it out .
So I got some apple cider from the store, since there are no apple orchards over here where I’m at, though if you live near one you can make your own apple cider fresh and use that in this recipe.
I have a picture below of the one I bought, you can buy it from Amazon here .
There are just a few ingredients, chai concentrate, apple cider, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
I use my chai concentrate, because really it’s about using chai itself without the milk in it.
You mix together your ingredients in a pot and bring it up to a boil. Once it’s bubbling you’re going to reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes, which allows all the flavors to combine.
Then pour it into a mug and you’re good to go! If you like, you can optionally add some whipped cream and cinnamon powder to take it up a notch. And it’s as easy as that! I told you this was simple.
So now I want to see your pictures, when you make this Apple Chaider tag me on instagram @itrychai and use the hashtag #itrychaider so I can feature you in my stories!
