Starbucks Secret Menu: Lavender Iced Chai (Dairy-Free)

STARBUCKS SECRET MENU RECIPE LAVENDER ICED CHAI LATTE DAIRY FREE DRINKS

Hey there, fellow Starbucks aficionados! Are you ready to dive into the realm of secret menu delights? Today, we're spilling the beans (or should we say, tea leaves?) on one of my favorite discoveries: the Dairy-Free Lavender Iced Chai. Picture this: a refreshing blend of chai spices with a hint of lavender, all served over ice and completely dairy-free. It's like a sip of sunshine with a floral twist! This is THE spring drink IMHO.

I was so excited when Starbucks released their spring menu, I along with many others have been wanting them to add lavender to their menu for a longgg time. It’s interesting to note that they don’t use syrup like many other local coffee shops opt for, instead it’s a powder that they add in using scoops. Their new spring drink lineup has two new menu offerings, the Iced Lavender Oatmilk Latte and the Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha. Unfortunately even though the matcha has oat milk, the lavender cream cold foam does contain dairy. I wanted something non-coffee but still has that lavender taste I love (and it’s been established that I love chai already lol) so I created this dairy free Lavender Chai. Today I’m gonna break down my new order for the season so that you can try it for yourself!

It’s pretty simple, so I’ll break it down into 2 parts: ordering ahead using their mobile app and placing your order in person.

ORDERING ON THE APP

  1. On the app, type into the search bar “Iced Chai” and select grande.

  2. Under milk select “Oat Milk”

  3. Select the “Customize” button and scroll down to Flavors

  4. Clcik “Add Powders” and select “Lavender Powder” (for grande size I go with 1 scoop)

ORDERING IN PERSON

“Hi! Can I get a grande iced chai with oat milk and one scoop of lavender powder?”

It’s that simple! Subtly sweet with a hint of lavender that’s just the right amount. Let me know if you try it and tag @itrychai in your photos and videos on Instagram1
