As I mentioned before, they have kindly sent me a sampler set to go ahead and try out! I’m very excited for this one, I’ve never had chai with earl grey tea as the base.

In today’s post we’re gonna talk about what a dirty chai is, why it rocks, and also a recipe so you can try it out for yourself.

The Milana Company is a Canadian tea and skincare company. All of their products are vegan an 100% natural (which is great)! They never use any artificial flavorings or additives. Their blend I’m tasting is The Royal Emperor’s Chai. What’s interesting about this and makes it different from anything I’ve tried before is there is rose petals in the mix, in addition to the normal chai spices.

I had first stumbled across this brand on instagram, so I had heard about them for a while. They focus on using a chai recipe that’s been passed down through generations. The batches are handmade, for a more authentic experience.

So today I’m reviewing Vahdam’s Saffron Masala Chai. Vahdam is an authentic tea company based in India, so I was really excited to try authentic chai from India. They pride themselves in packaging fresh at the source, and cutting out the middleman by shipping directly to you. Oprah has also featured them in her “favorite things” list 2 years!

Pronounced notes of clove, and it’s definitely a chai for a chai lover that wants something more than a basic coffee shop chai latte. Easy to make, and keeps in the fridge 4 weeks after opening.

This has the chai flavor that should be present in every chai, but it’s not spicy so it’s very appealing to many different palettes.
