What if I could tell you that you could combine two classic fall favorites: chai and pumpkin pie. Today I’m going to share a great recipe that will change your pumpkin pie game forever. So brew up some chai and let’s get started.
Pumpkin pie can be found in most stores this time of year, but if you love pumpkin pie like me then you know the best is made at home.
Pumpkin pie tastes seemingly simple, but when you combine that with the chai spices and flavors you get a complex twist that pairs perfectly. Enjoy this any time of year, but especially during this season.
I had some leftover Firepot chai I had made the day before, just sitting in my fridge. I wanted to find a way to use it and right now is prime pumpkin time. That’s kinda how this recipe for chai pumpkin pie came to be. So if you have any extra chai laying around, feel free to use that in this recipe.
With this recipe, you can either use a frozen pre-made pie crust or a homemade one from your favorite recipe.
What’s especially great about this recipe is that it has a nice balance of sweetness and spice.
So let’s get right into it!
