Review: The Milana Company - Royal Emperor's Chai
The Milana Company is a Canadian tea and skincare company. All of their products are vegan an 100% natural (which is great)! They never use any artificial flavorings or additives. Their blend I’m tasting is The Royal Emperor’s Chai. What’s interesting about this and makes it different from anything I’ve tried before is there is rose petals in the mix, in addition to the normal chai spices.
Review: Firepot Loose Leaf Masala Chai
This has the chai flavor that should be present in every chai, but it’s not spicy so it’s very appealing to many different palettes.
Review: Shanti Chai & Co Original Chai Blend
A balanced, indulgent, and likable chai. This chai is great because while it isn’t burn-your-tongue spicy, it still has that “chai” flavor because you simmer the spices first, allowing them to have more time to release their oils and flavor, then add the tea last.
I Try Indian Chai
Recently, my friend/chiropractor Amanda went on a trip to India. She was so nice and brought me back some chai spice mix and Darjeeling tea! Since I had the chance to taste authentic chai literally HAND DELIVERED from India, of course I had to write a post about it. Read the whole thing here.
Review: Tipu's Original Slow Brew Chai
The concept of the Slow Brew Chai is that it takes a bit longer than their blends in the Chai Now line, and the added time it takes to bring the mixture up to a boil several times is supposed to add to the flavor.
Review: Chai Baba Rooibos Chai
This is a nice warm and inviting chai, matching all the fall aesthetics: smooth and creamy, comforting, + mellow and chill. This is the kind of chai you want to just chill out while watching a movie on a rainy fall day or something.
Review: The Reluctant Trading Experiment Loose Leaf Masala Chai
My mind is blown. I don’t even know where to start with this one, I’ve been putting off this review for a while because I just couldn’t figure out how to put it into words. This is my favorite chai EVER.
